WaveForms is at capacity for pre-registration!
Due to the demand, we will offer stand by, day-of access at the door based on availability. Standby line will begin forming at 6:00 PM on July 13th. All interested parties should check in at the main registration in the Museum lobby. The doors to the event open at 7:00P. Please note: joining the standby line does not guarantee access to the event, and all admission will be determined based on capacity.
If you have already reserved a ticket, you are all set—just be sure to arrive before 8:00 PM. After 8:00 PM, we will begin to open up space for standby attendees on a first come, first serve basis and all ticket holders will be subject to standby access.
Frequently Asked Questions
• When should I arrive?
Arrive early! Doors open at 6P and we’ll start letting folks into the event at 7P. Our first screenings start at 7:15P. Give yourself time to park and/or get oriented to the Museum before diving in.
• I registered multiple people, do we all need to arrive at the same time?
Ideally, yes. If that’s not possible, please make sure to send a unique QR code to each person in your crew. The original email address used to register is essential for entry.
• What are accessibility accommodations for this event?
All of the experiences at WaveForms are accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other mobility devices. Please note, the parking garage elevator is not working, but the Museum has accommodations in order; give them a call at 617.723.2500.
Assistive hearing devices can be borrowed from the front desk. Additional accessibility information can be found here: https://www.mos.org/visit/accessibility.
• Will there be food or beverages available?
No, try to eat before you arrive! The cafeteria and vending areas are closed during the Museum’s after hours events.
• I’m a participating artist, when should I arrive?
Check in at registration, in the main welcome area, between 5-6:30P.
• Are these programs free-flowing?
Sorta! The Omni & the Planetarium programs will not admit guests once the shows start. But there’s a lot of other WaveForms programming encouraging drift.
